Edition 3

Learning to operate the video equipment was the first step to becoming a videomaker. Many workshops were held all over the western suburbs for many different groups - and the one group who were always facinated by the equipment and the images it could produce were school children. Our first images this week are from a session that was run at the North Williamstown Primary School.

Next in the Gallery it's some photos from Alan Dyall - on location shooting, his first video group and that famous van.

Then see the book and manual that were a must have if you were serious about learning about video in the 70's.

Finally we see two groups in a workshop learning to use the equipment and then finish with Malcolm Cormack and Lassya Maksymyschyn (Shive) with the speakers Alan Dyall built and painted.

Please contact us at info@turtlevideoaltona.com if you have any images you’d like to share.
