Edition 6

Edition six of the “Headline” and theres plenty to sing about this week.

Distribution had been an issue from the earliest days of the access video movement - you could make a program . . . but who would see it? Read all about it in this weeks "Feature".

“Profile” looks at two women and their roles in video production starting in the mid seventies right up to the early nineties and beyond.

“Backstage” uncovers the secret behind "Charlie", a band called "Willy and the No Names" and what you can do with a three channel mixer.

Its music all round in our "Video" section this week - the guys, the girls and the groups!

The “Gallery” exhibits video in the community and more pictures by John Robinson - from Freyer Street in 1976 to FreVideo in 1974.

“Paperfile” unearths two articles by Peter Duffy outlining Westcoms position in 1980 - and three major documents from 1975 reporting on the Access Video Project.

Just two weeks to go with plenty more still to come - so enjoy this edition and we'll see you back here next Sunday for another issue of the "Headline".
