About the documents

Where documents were type only, these have been converted into electronic text documents, with attention to matching the layout and "feel" of the fonts used in the original.

Page size and layout has been maintained where possible, however many documents were originally created on old standard paper sizes - some documents were longer than foolscap and have been represented as best we can, while allowing for easy printing to todays standard of A4.

Other documents contained many graphic elements - these have been converted as a combination of electronic text whilst maintaining the graphics as originally presented and set out.

Some documents contained so many graphic elements, that the entire page was scanned and is presented as such in order to recreate the document accurately. In these cases, a text only version has been added at the end of the original document in order to make reading easier.

As a result, some of these documents are large in size, around 3 megabytes with the largest being 14 megabytes.

All documents have been reproduced in an effort to faithfully keep to the look and style of the original.
